Collie Police are searching for three men who were involved in the assault of a Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions officer on January 10.
Collie Police Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar said the wildlife officer was speaking to campers at Honeymoon Pool about campfires when he was punched in the face.
The three men then left the scene in a distinctive red Hyundai Excel, which had a black bonnet and no licence plates.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said police are still searching for the men and that anyone with any information about the crime should get in touch with Collie Police.
Collie Police also charged a 21-year-old Collie woman with stealing on January 15.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said police apprehended the woman after she stole approximately $25 worth of food products from Coles.
The woman will appear in court next month.
