The ladies were at home to Binningup for the commencement of the second game in the second round and had mixed results.

Division 1 went to Capel, Division 3 were at home to Dunsborough. and Division 4 were at home to Binningup.

PINE HAULIERS MEAT PACK – January 24
The Pine Hauliers Meat Pack was held on January 24 and a good turn out of bowlers and the format was changed to play three games of eight ends being played. This keeps the interest and people thinking of what you need to play for each game. All had a good time.

Runners-up: Graeme Old and Tom Gale with 6 points plus 31;
3rd: Phil Fettes and Len Flynn with 6 points plus 28;
4th: Jim Tyler and Gayle Riley with 5 points plus 28;
5th: Tom Edwards and Chris Sanford with 5 points plus 27.
SCOTT CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLES – January 24
The Triples Championship was completed last Thursday and good bowls was played by all who attended. They played over two days and played two bowl triples.
Winners: Heather Gibbs, Vicki Daniel, Estelle Johnsen;
Runners-up: Kerry Scott, Glenice Kaurin, Bev Old.
COMMUNITY BOWLS – January 24
Seven teams rolled up for the first night of Community Bowls and the Pink Ladies are off to a flying start and now have a six handicap.
Other teams who played well were Fire Units, Bendigo Bank and Bowling Stones. There is room for more teams to play on Wednesday nights. Get a team together and come along and have fun and socialise.
Winners: Pink Ladies.
McCAFE SUNDAY SCROUNGERS – January 28
Another good field of bowlers played in the scroungers and close scores by all who played. Into the final went Jamie Godfrey, Rod Cordery, Brian Bass, Barry Lowe.

STATE SINGLES MEN'S – January 28
Entering into the State Singles with more than 200 of the strongest players in the country and metropolitan areas, Gary Keep came down to the last eight and played Daniel Brown, a state bowler. Gary was leading at 18 to 16 and lost in the last couple of ends to Daniel Brown who won 21 to 16.
Well done Gary from our club in Collie; you performed very well.
