The Collie Ladies travelled to Busselton for the pennant competition and came away without a win.

MEN’S TUESDAY PENNANTS – January 30
All three Collie teams had good wins.
Division 1
Collie 4 points 45 aggregate defeated Bunbury 0 points 39 aggregate;
G. Keep, R. Guilfoyle, T. Uren, R. Garner won 23 to 19;
J. Parker, K. McKenzie, J. Crowe, R. Ferris won 22 to 20.
Division 3
Collie 4 points 53 aggregate defeated Eaton Blue 0 points 31 aggregate;
B. Bass, H. Wiggers, W. Simmonds, G. Saggers won 25 to 17;
J. Tyler, J. Waywood, L. McCamish, D. Burgess won 28 14.
Division 4
Collie 3 points 37 aggregate defeated Bunbury 1 point 36 aggregate;
B. Lowe, J. Godfrey, I. Corley, C. Sanford lost 11 to 23;
K. Richards, P. Kaurin, J. Stone, I. Bushell won 26 to 13.
PINE HAULIERS MEAT PACK – January 31
The meat pack on Wednesday had another good field of bowlers turned up to play the format of 2 x 4 x 2 and all enjoyed the day.
The score between second and third was a close finish with only one shot separating them.
A visitor from Perth came to play and ended up in second spot.
Results
Winners: Graeme Old and Trevor Welsh with 4 points plus 30;
Runners-up: Kevin McKenzie and P. Bartholomey with 4 points plus 21;
Third: Steve Matthews and Tom Gale with 4 points plus 20.
SOUTH WEST LEAGUE INTER LEAGUE ROUND ROBIN – January 31
Held in Donnybrook on January 31 and February 1 the competition was between the South West, Murray, Blackwood and the Leeuwin Leagues.
It was played in a round robin format and last week culminated in selections for the Zone team to play at Jurien Bay against other Zones on March 10 and 11.
Selected from the South West were K. Scott, K. Gaglia, B. Scott, E. McDonald, M. Coulson, L. Tredgett and K. Leese.
Well done to all these ladies who have made the team.

First: Murray League with 6 points;
Second: South West with 3 points;
Third: Leeuwin League with 2 points;
Fourth: Blackwood League 1 point.
SATURDAY PENNANTS – February 3
Division 1 had mixed results at Eaton. Collie is in third place as of last week.
Division 2 had a good win at home to Brunswick. Collie is in second place as of last week.

COMMUNITY BOWLS – January 31
The second round of the community bowls was played last week and a new winner for that round was Collie Cop.
In second place was Fire Units.
The winner has a six handicap for the next round.

LADIES’ BOWLS – February 8
The ladies has social bowls last week due to the Round Robin in Donnybrook.
Coming up is a fun day today, Thursday; and the next on the list is the Championship Fours so names on board and it will be drawn.
Two teams travelled to Binningup last Friday and came away with mixed results.

L. Mitchell, G. Kaurin, R. Colgan, M. Taylor won 1 lost 2.
CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES – February 4
The Championship Singles commenced on February 4 and will continue next Sunday.
Our sponsors for this event are White Building Co and Eric Bury, a former player.
The games were played in sectionals to start with then out for another round then the semi final and grand final.
The players who lost in the first round then went into the plate and a winner was declared from there.
