A man charged over an incident outside Collie’s Crown Hotel last year has shown progress, according to his pre-sentence order review.
Shaun Cornell Winder attended court on November 2 and pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault and one of assault causing bodily harm.
He had attacked three individuals outside the Crown Hotel in the early hours of August 13, 2017.
Mr Winder then turned himself in to Collie Police on August 14. He attended Bunbury Magistrates Court on February 1 for the review.
His lawyer said Mr Winder had been compliant with his supervision orders while his engagement with Alcohol and Drug Services was also impressive.
Mr Winder had also regularly engaged counselling through Accordwest.
His lawyer made a plea to continue the pre-sentence order.
Magistrate Evan Shackleton renewed Mr Winder’s bail on the same terms. He said community corrections would bring Mr Winder back to court if anything went wrong.
He will be sentenced on April 14.
