The Smith Family’s local learning clubs are looking for more tutors to help students with their schoolwork.

The Smith Family have been running learning clubs at schools in Collie with the support of Collie Community Bank for the past five years and are in need of more tutors to keep the program running.

The Smith Family's Diane Blount said the program currently has eight registered volunteers, but requires another six to cover availability.

“Having more tutors will ensure we can deliver a positive Learning experience for students who attend,” she said.

Ms Blount said volunteers wouldn’t require any qualifications and all training and resources would be provided.

The Smith Family currently runs learning clubs at Wilson Park Primary School on Wednesdays and Amaroo Primary School on Thursdays from 3pm until 4.30pm during the school term.
