Collie Police have charged two men with drug offences after a routine traffic stop.
Acting Senior Sergeant Terry Townsend said police had pulled over a car on Pitt Street on the morning of April 5 when a search of the car turned up cannabis and methamphetamine.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend said the drugs were seized and both a 41-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were charged with drug offences.
They will appear in the Collie Magistrates Court this month.
Police also charged a 31-year-old man with drug offences after a search of a house on Wallsend Street on April 7.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend said the man was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and possessing a smoking implement.
The man was also charged with having ready access to both weapons and illegal drugs due to being in possession of a number of swords.
He will also appear in court this month.
A 35-year-old woman was also charged by police in relation to a disturbance in Ogden Street at 4pm on April 9.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend said police were called due to an incident between two females at a house in Ogden Street, where one woman was charged with common assault, disorderly behaviour and obstruction.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend said the woman was refused bail due to previous matters and was remanded into custody in Bunbury.
Police are also looking for information into a couple of thefts that occurred over the last week. On April 4, a moped was stolen from the carpark behind Woolworths on Johnston Street.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend said police are calling for any information after the moped was later found damaged near Collie Flooring Xtra, 150m away from where it was taken.
Police are also looking for a quad bike that was stolen from a house on Wittenoom Street between April 6 and 7.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend said the offender forced open the garage door and took the red quad bike, which is unregistered and in poor condition.
Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend also said police are looking for information after two teenage females were spotted trying to break into a shed in at a vacant property on Wittenoom Street at about 5pm on April 9.
Finally, Acting Senior Sergeant Townsend has called on drivers to take it easy on the roads as we head into the winter months.
He said drivers need to adjust their driving to suit wet roads, such as braking earlier, in order to limit the number of possible crashes on our roads.
