There was a lot going on around in Collie in July 2007.
The Wellington Dam got $41 million in funding to undergo a facelift. The upgrade was to coincide with a statewide program to maintain and upgrade Western Australia’s dams.
Collie Senior High students wore red to school and raised $500 to raise the awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Honeymoon Pool’s $530,000 facelift was unveiled with improvements including new steps and retaining walls, completed decking, both car park and road was sealed and safe river access was added.
