Twenty-four pairs graced the fairways for the inaugural Railways vs Bulfinch trophy.
Good mates Stephen Miller and Roger Hunter combined extremely well to take out the two-man ambrose competition.
With Miller’s long balls off the tee and Roger’s astute short game, the pair returned a score of 62.5.
The wily Phil Warburton and low marker Colin Giblett took out the runners-up trophy, a further shot back on 63.5.
Wayne Waywood and Greg Moyle held on for third place trophy with 65.75.
Alan Kent and Mun Lye were in next with 66, followed by Tony Barker-May and Clayton Flynn 66.25, Denis Cocker and Jay Robinson 66.75 and the Annandale brothers Eric and Ron on 67.
Five ladies played an individual stableford with Bev Moyses winning the event with 34 from Rhonda Annandale on 32.

On Tuesday, 26 players played in the club sponsored leisure day.
Brad Swan had 38 points to be clear of Greg Moyle on 36.
Darren O’Brien and Ron Annandale had 35 apiece and Paul Moyses, Jim Hine and Tony Barker-May all returned 34.
The best vet on the day went to Denis Cocker with 35 points.

Steve Gianola was the tearaway winner in scroungers.
Steve had 24 points to win from Clive Pullan and Jim Tyler both on 21.
George Dorozenko and Peter Coombes both had 19 followed by Bruce Miller, George Newlands, Dean Rakich, Kim Metcalfe, Tony Barker-May, Fred Bronickis, Graeme Jackson, Ray Alp and finally Dave Henderson all on 18.
Dale Miffling had 20 points to be the best visitor and Dean Rakich won the gross with 40 off-the-stick.
