Amaroo Primary School’s Kindergarten class held a Mother’s Day morning earlier this month to celebrate and acknowledge how thankful they are for their mum.
Mothers came into the classroom to visit their children and the students showed their appreciation for the achievements and efforts of their mothers and mother figures.
The children and adults both undertook many activities throughout the course of the morning.
Children played with dolls, blew bubbles, creatively decorated cupcakes and painted some art work, they pampered their mum by painting her nails and giving her a hand massage.
After the activities the entire class sat down on the mat and each student gave their mother a letter which described what each child loved about their mum, why she is special and what was their mums best cooked dish.
