It’s our favourite time of the week – a chance to reflect on the changes in our region, the faces and the fun that was being had during November 2007.
Indie-pop band British India kicked of their WA tour, including a trip playing at the Crown Hotel in Collie.
A two year scholarship for midwifery training was established by Collie service clubs including Rotary, the Collie Lions, Collie-Wellington Lions and the Business and Professional Women’s club to help the shortage of midwifes in Collie.
Three Collie Senior High School students were recognised for their academic achievements. Sandy Marshall, Annika Kononen and Hayley Bastow were nominated by their teachers to be shortlisted for the Wholly School Assessed subject awards. Ms Marshall was nominated for her work in art and photography, Ms Kononen for senior science and Ms Bastow for art
