Darkan Library is Back in Business

The library renovations are complete and everything is back on the shelves. A big thank you to the wonderful West Arthur CRC volunteers and helpers for the speedy stock-take that was done while putting the library items in their new home. Thanks also to the wonderful West Arthur shire staff for moving all the shelving out and then back in again after the refurbishment.

Lake Towerrinning

The Shire is currently putting in some steps at the boat ramp end of the lake to provide users with easier access to the shade shelters and will also be planting some seedlings around this area. New gates that allow operation without entering the water will also be installed at the lake outlet.

This project is supported by funding from the Western Australian Government's State Natural Resource Management Program, supported by Royalties for Regions and the Shire of West Arthur.
