The Collie BMX Club held its final race day of the season recently.
With double points up for grabs, it was an interesting day at the BMX track on Sunday, June 17 as the racers fought to better their positions on the final leaderboard.
After the races were complete and the scores were calculated, the end-of-season awards were handed out.
Shire of Collie president Sarah Stanley and Collie and Districts Community Bank director Ian Miffling were on hand to award the riders for their efforts.
The club’s Mini Wheelers, Sprockets and everyone else who competed received a medal, while the top three from the higher age groups were also awarded with a trophy.
The results were:
Under 10s: First: Jace Van Asselt; Second: Bryn Crellin; Third: Mitchell Cheng.
Under 12s: First: Zach Riley; Second: Anthony Maurice; Third: Curtis Hunter.
Under 14s: First: Will McIlree; Second: Jack Williams; Third: Cody Davison.
