Festiv Arty is calling for people in the community to register for one of the biggest art festivals in Collie after registrations opened last week.
The History and Mystery arts festival which is celebrating its 28th year will be running from September 14 – 23 and is sponsored by local businesses, the Shire of Collie, Lanco and the Bendigo Bank.
Festiv Arty coordinators Lisa Gillespie and Tasmin Emmett said there’s a huge variety of workshops and events across the 10 day festival to cater for everyone.
“There will be lots going on, something every day. We try and make as much of possible free so everyone can come and be part of it but there are some things that we do add a cost to,” Mrs Emmett said.
This years theme is History and Mystery which will see a night at the Collie museum, a 1920 style murder mystery party for adults, an antiques roadshow, a Chatterboox writing festival, a street fair, visual and performing art competitions and lots more.
