A 40-year-old Collie woman has been fined $2000 and had her licence disqualified for 12 months after being found guilty of reckless driving.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Karl Rep told the Collie Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 11 that Sally Anne Armour had been captured by CCTV doing burnouts at the intersection of Coombes and Paull streets at 5.42pm on March 4.
Sergeant Rep said Armour had left her driveway on Coombes Street and then driven to the intersection with Paull Street where she accelerated rapidly and completed seven revolutions before leaving.
He said Armour then returned a couple of minutes later and completed more burnouts at the intersection while onlookers recorded the incident.
Sergeant Rep said Armour had her son and another male passenger were in the car at the time of the incident.
Armour did not appear in court.
