Arthur River Hall Meeting
Recently 30 Arthur River community members attended a public meeting regarding the future of the newest section of the hall.
The meeting was chaired by shire president Ray Harrington who indicated the discussion regarding the hall had been initiated by the Arthur River Development Committee and the shire was assisting with investigating the options.
Opinions were varied and after much discussion, the public was overwhelmingly in support of restoring the hall.
Community members offered to be involved in determining how the repairs and restoration should be done, how it will be funded and to investigate future uses for the hall.
