The Collie men’s volleyball team made it back-to-back wins on Sunday when the side won the B-grade division of the Collie Coal Cup Tournament.
A total of 41 teams contested the 29th annual tournament.
Collie Volleyball Association president Kyle Hulls said the tournament continued to grow in popularity.
“It’s great that everyone wants to come to Collie to compete, we have to turn away a lot of teams every year,” Hulls said.
“Volleyball is a growing sport in Collie, we are hopeful next year to have two men’s teams competing,” he said.
Women's A-grade team, Synchronised Diving, won the coveted Coal Cup Trophy, which is awarded for performance, sportsmanship, appearance, commitment to duties and participating in the right spirit of the game.
