For 10 days in September Collie is set to come alive for the biggest art festival, Festiv Arty.

The History and Mystery festival now in its 26th year and will run from September 14 – 23.

The 10 day festival includes an opportunity for visiting experts to appraise and value your treasures at the two-day Coalfields Museum Antiques Roadshow from September 15 – 16.

A chance to spend a Night at the Museum on September 20 and enjoy music and entertaining stories accompanied by wine and cheese.

There will also be a family-friendly astronomy night, roaring 1920s Murder Mystery party, a Street Fair, a massive show of art spreads, including competitions and a wide variety of art and craft workshops.

The festival also has plenty to offer for children, with a Silent Disco for teens, a mystery to solve for younger children and an illustration workshop for kids of all ages.

The festival is put together by dedicated volunteers and the generous support of the Collie Community Bank branch of the Bendigo Bank, Griffin Coal and the Shire of Collie.
