South West Strikers celebrate win following Rockingham forfeit

The South West Strikers picked up a 5-0 win after Rockingham was forced to forfeit their Round 21 clash.

The result gifted the Strikers with their 11th victory, and pushed them up to second on the ladder.

Claiming 11 wins, one loss, and six draws, they ended up just below YMCC ahead of the finals.

The Strikers finished the season above Southern River, Fremantle, Whitford, Rockingham, and Old Guildfordians Mundaring Hockey Club on the ladder.

In the first week of the South West Hockey League Women’s finals, Marist takes on Collie before Boyanup clashes with Robins.

The SWHL Men’s semi-final draw sees Wests go up against Boyanup and Marist contend with Associates.

All four games will take place at the Bunbury Hockey Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
