A Collie hockey club is looking the part this season thanks to some much-needed cash from Bankwest.
The Mustangs Hockey Club has been able to kit out three of its teams with new uniforms after successfully applying for a series of Bankwest Easy Grants.
Mustangs player Danika Cabrini said the old uniform was well past its use-by date.
“For many years the club had old playing shirts so we redesigned and have have ordered all new ones over the past three years which includes mens’, two senior womens’ teams and also the junior girls and boys teams too,” she said.
“This year we even had leftover funds which we were able to use for some new goalie gear which we have just got.
“All the teams look refreshed and great on the field.”

The club has had a superb season with the boys’ team winning the league in their inaugural season, along women’s A-grade reserves team taking out the grand final last weekend.
Bankwest Head of Corporate Responsibility Lisa Holley said Easy Grants were specifically designed to help communities and community groups at a grassroots level, by providing small grants of up to $1000.
