It’s our favourite time of the week – a step back in time to reflect on the changes in our region, the faces and the fun that was being had during the month of May 1998.
There was a lot going on in the region at the time.
The Collie Senior High School kids had their school ball.
Steere Street received a face lift where new lighting poles, paving and trees were installed and planted.
Channel SBS finally made its debut in Collie hitting the airwaves just in time for the 1998 World Cup.
Eight new apprentices also joined the Muja Power Station.
What was your favourite memory of May 1998?
