After a good break over the wet winter, the Collie BMX Club is winding up to start an exciting series of racing.
The club a busy calendar, which started with a busy bee to get the track ready on Saturday, October 6.
Sunday, October 14 the track will be open for the Ride in2 BMX day.
Starting at 11.30am all non-BMX association members are welcome to come down and try out BMX for free under the guidance of experienced coaches.
There will be a free sausage sizzle for riders. It is a fantastic opportunity to have a go!
Then the season’s first round of racing starts on Sunday, October 21.
Nominations will be between 9–9.45am and racing commences at 10am.
The club is really excited to be back and is looking forward to seeing all the old faces; and hopefully some new ones as well.
The Collie BMX Club has also secured Matt Blake Coaching to provide coaching for its members.
The first session was held at on Sunday, October 7; the second will be held on Sunday, October 14 after Come and Try Day at 2pm; and the third after racing on Sunday, October 28 at 12 noon.
Riders must hold a current BMX association membership to participate.
