Staff at the Collie and Districts Community Bendigo Bank are holding a quiz night at the Collie Eagles Football Club on Saturday, October at 6pm to help raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Staff said they chose the charity after a young Collie boy Jackson Pianta was diagnosed with childhood acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Tables of eight will be available at $80 per table and there will be a chocolate wheel and heaps of prizes to be won. To book go to www.eventbrite.com.au. Bookings are essential.
Staff will also be embarking on an 80km two-day walk along the Bilbulmun Track from Drivers Road back into Collie, include camping overnight along the track to help reach their $10,000 goal of fundraising for multiple events throughout the year.
