On Sunday a good field of 14 mixed pairs took to the fairways to compete in the 27-hole mixed foursome club championship.

In a first for many years there was a tie at the top of the leader board and sudden death play-off was required to split the winners.

Dean Rakich and Vicki Graham won the playoff hole against Colin Giblett and Bev Moyses.

Both pairs had 129 for the 27 holes.

The nett section saw a comfortable win for Steven and Angela Ireland who could not miss a putt early on in the game.
