Main Roads Works Near Bowelling: Main Roads are commencing work near Bowelling to realign Coalfields Road and the Collie Darkan Rail Trail.
A section of the trail will be closed for short periods during the works. The first closure will be for a period of two weeks starting November 5.

Our Community Bank recognise those that support us and our Annual Collie Community Bank Christmas Tree is one of our favourite days of the year where we get to spoil our smallest customers with a day full of fun.
As usual, this year there will be lots of rides, yummy food and drinks, and of course a visit from Santa and Piggy.
To be eligible to receive a present, children 12 and under - their accounts must be actively used and the balance must have increased over the year from 1 January 2018 to 19 November 2018 AND the adult signatory to the child's account must also have an active account with Bendigo Bank Collie Branch.

Seniors’ Bus Trip to Featured Australind Wood Gallery & Museum: On Friday, November 16 seniors of West Arthur are invited on a bus trip to the wonderful woodworking showroom and museum called the Featured Wood Gallery and Museum in Australind.
This gallery showcases a wide variety of craft and furniture pieces made on site by local artisans from local jarrah, marri and sheoak.
Attached to the gallery is a museum which focuses on larger than life displays on Ned Kelly, Gallipoli, local Indigenous culture, American Indians, the Bunbury Jetty and the US Civil War.
After this visit you have the opportunity to have lunch locally and then travel back to Darkan. This trip is possible thanks to a Seniors Week 2018 Community Grants Program. Please RSVP by November 7 to the CRC.
Please note there will be a cost of $5 each for the bus. Lunch costs to be advised.
