There was a huge turn out at Collie Little Athletics on Friday with 47 athletes hitting the track to compete.
As we are into our second round of the three-week program, athletes will have to improve on their previous events to obtain personal bests. A total of 123 personal bests were broken this week with an impressive five new centre records.
This week’s records go to:
U7 – Maddison Laverty in vortex with a throw of 12.68m ( previous record was 9.78m)
U8 – Chase Sochacki in high jump with a jump of 0.90m (previous record was 0.88m)
U9 – Xavier Stewart in 100m with a time of 15.76s (previous record 15.99 seconds)
U11 – Logan Gregory in 1500m with a time of 6:11:31 (previous record was 6:18:68)
U13 – An-ne Pelser in discus with a throw of 27.74m (previous record 25.46m).

A reminder to all athletes that there is a multi-event being held in Narrogin on December 1 – registrations is through ResultsHq.
Training is on Wednesday between 5pm and 6pm and competition is on Friday for a 4.30pm set up for a 5pm start.
