Collie's domination of country basketball was celebrated at a reunion on Saturday, November 17.
Collie won division one in the country championships an amazing 18 times losing only three matches over 22 years.
Players that played between 1963 to 1985 were invited to celebrate this amazing accomplishment.
Collie also succeeded in all South West Championships and Upper great southern championships, winning every year that the teams competed.
A cake was provided in Collie colours and cut by two of Collie's long respected basketballers, Dorothy Sullivan and Merelyn Saunders, who both represented WA and both life members of the Collie Basketball Association.
The achievements of the Collie Women’s Basketball Team was a feat which will unlikely never be achieved again by a country team, the players and coaches should be applauded for the outstanding accomplishments in helping Collie become the top WA country team.
Collie's top coach Greg Bell made a speech congratulating all players.
