Collie suffered its first loss of the season as it took on Leschenault in a T20 Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association C grade competition match on the weekend, a different format to the usual 50-over matches.
G Sidhu and C Mumme opened the batting with Collie winning the toss.
It was great to see Mumme back in form and striking the ball well.
The boys put on 49 runs until Sidhu (23) hit one to long-on to be caught out.
K Hull joined Mumme and they amassed some quick runs together with seven fours and two sixes to put Collie in a strong position.
Hull was finally dismissed for 28 then J Dallywater (10) stepped in until he inside-edged a ball back onto his wicket.
M Rueben (7) followed shortly after then C Mumme was caught hitting out on 49.
A Kent and A Worlley batted well together with Kent striking the ball well and making a quick 27 not out.
Worlley (9) was ran out on the last ball as Collie finished with the figures of 5/166 off 20 overs.
Collie was unable to take a wicket from Leschenault until the score was on 51, when G Sidhu rattled the stumps.
A few hard chances went by and Leschenault took their opportunities.
With the white ball, Collie bowled 18 wides and three no-balls as Leschenault only lost one wicket when they reached the score needed with four balls remaining.
