As the young athletes settle into the new events they continue to break personal bests and centre records.
This week there were 45 athletes and between them broke 113 personal bests and three new centre records.
This week’s centre records go to Under 9 Xavier Stewart in 200m sprint breaking his own record in 32.53s.
U17 Chloe Broadbent continues to improve in shot put breaking her own record with a throw of 8.38m.
U12 Harrison Silvester set a new record in shot put with a throw of 6.61m.
The following athletes broke four of their previous personal bests: Oliver Stewart, Nina Bercene, Alec Hammond, Sam Kippin, Harrison Silvester, Toby Carr, Leah Wood and Marni Bercene.
These athletes broke five personal bests: Gemma Buckle, Tahlia Reichelt, Ada Gooch and Connor Silvester.
This Saturday Narrogin is holding its multi event where athletes participate in a program of five events against other invited centres. Best of luck to Collie’s 17 registered athletes.
