The Collie Retired Miners Association held its annual Christmas celebrations at the Federation Hotel on Friday, December 7.
Roughly 60 people gathered together for lunch, including members of the group and their partners to celebrate the festive season and a chance to catch up with former colleagues.
Retired Miners Association president Ron Guilfoyle said the day was a success.
“It’s great to get out and talk about the work we used to do and enjoy ourselves,” Mr Guilfoyle said.
“Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the retirees from the mines.”
Mr Guilfoyle said the association was always looking for more members if anyone from the community was thinking of joining.
