A 20-year-old Collie woman has been charged with three stealing offences in relation to an incident at the Collie Hospital back in September.
Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar said police had charged the woman with stealing, burglary and stealing a motor vehicle after she allegedly entered a restricted area of the hospital on September 14 and stole a set of keys.
The woman then allegedly used the vehicle ‘for quite some time’ before it was found abandoned in the Hamilton Hill suburb of Perth.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said police had also identified a 23-year-old male who had also been charged with similar offences in relation to the incident.
Police also charged a 34-year-old Collie man with assault, threats and breach of bail after an alleged family violence incident at 6.30am on December 5.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said the man had been taken into custody and sent to Bunbury to appear before the court.
On the same day, police charged a 40-year-old Collie woman with drug possession after a traffic stop and subsequent search resulted in police allegedly finding a quantity of cannabis in the centre console.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said the woman could also be charged with further offences after a roadside drug swipe test conducted by police came back positive and was sent for further analysis.

Police are also investigating a damage incident at the Collie Golf Club which occurred sometime between December 5 and 6.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said police had received a report that a ‘very inappropriate’ image had been scratched into the green on the course’s 14th hole, with tee markers also being stolen.
He said the course’s greens had been damaged several times over the past few weeks, caused largely by trailbikes and juveniles ‘causing a bit of a nuisance’.
Senior Sergeant Soutar said the officers hit town to ensure the more than 60 Rebels members, nominees and associates ‘behaved themselves’ over the weekend.
“We had no trouble here in Collie over the weekend,” he said.
“They spent the night just outside of Collie, and we had a lot of the police officers also stay the night in town so we would have been very well prepared if anything had happened.”
