More than 200 Collie residents came together to celebrate at the 65th Cheerio Club Christmas Party held on Thursday, December 13 at the Miner’s Institute.
The event had a number of presentations from St Brigid’s Parish Collie Father Nicandro Lim, Premier Coal operations manager Jim Falconer, and Shire of Collie president Sarah Stanley.
Attendees were treated to live music over lunch, including several performances by Allanson Primary School pre-primary and kindergarten classes, Tabu, Kate Hindle with students Shae Digney and Serra McCullum and the Magill Sisters.
The hall was decked out in a stunning array of Christmas decorations, which the Collie Senior High School students helped to set up four days prior.
