Collie Vs Harvey-Benger 20/20 match
Another close game for Collie in the C-grade 20/20 competition on December 22, but it was unfortunately another loss.
Collie won the toss and elected to bat.
A. Hutt and T. Plumber opened the batting but unfortunately T. Plummer went first ball bowled.
A. Chappel came in and made eight before being caught.
J. Dallywater joined Hutt as Hutt was trying to lift the run rate but was soon out LBW for 17.
Collie bowled well at the start. They managed to keep the runs down with the young 14-year-old, J. Broadbent, taking his first wicket for C-grade.

S. White made a quick 13 and M. Rueben was going well, 14 off 9 balls until both batters ran into each other and he was caught well short of his crease.
J. Fraser (0) was also ran out as Dallywater called for a quick single.
B. Bebbington was caught for a duck and M. Thompson made a handy nine before being bowled.
L. McCormick (1 not out) ran hard with Dallywater who bought up his 50 with a 6 and finished 59 not out from 50 balls.
Collie finished 8/142 from their 20 overs.
Collie bowled well at the start. They managed to keep the runs down with the young 14-year-old, J. Broadbent, taking his first wicket for C-grade.
A great catch from Dallywater off B. Bebbington’s bowling put Collie in a great position.
McCormick also stood out with two catches both from Broadbent’s bowling, giving the youngster 3/30 off his four overs.
However, the strong Harvey Benger side reached Collie’s total in 18.3 overs with the loss of only four wickets.
