Writing and Publishing Short Course:
Writing and publishing in the digital age in plain English is what this short course is all about on Thursday, February 28 from 10.30am—3pm at the West Arthur CRC.

Works and projects:
Maintenance graders have been working in the north-west area of the Shire and also on the construction of the Bokal North and Boyup Brook Arthur roads.
New Library Books:
The new library exchange is up on the shelf in Darkan Library so be sure to call in soon to see what’s on offer.
St John First Aid Courses for 2019:
The West Arthur CRC will be hosting the Provide First Aid – 1 Day Flexi class on two separate days this year. Your two choices to lock in your diary if you need a renewal or want to do the course for the first time are Tuesday, April 30 or Saturday, June 22. Both are all-day courses from 8.30am—4.30pm. More details about booking in closer to the date.
Walking Group:
The Heart Foundation walking group run by the West Arthur CRC will start again on today, February 14 at 9am. All welcome and it’s for every fitness level. Contact Abby Warren at the CRC for more details.
Podiatrist:
Podiatrist Julian Boo will visit Darkan again on Thursday, March 21. Contact the CRC for appointments on 9736 2000.
Computer Help Sessions:
If you are needing some help with computer basics you’re welcome to come to the CRC in Darkan on Wednesdays from 10-11am for the “Where the On Button?” sessions during February. No need to book just come along.
Yoga:
Yoga with Tara is a back on Friday mornings at the CRC from 10am. The cost is $20 per session with upfront payment for a block of attendance. There is a crèche available at $10 per child. This will be run in the library by the CRC staff.
Scholarship Opportunity:
Have you completed an agriculture degree? Interested in becoming a secondary teacher? The Agricultural Educators Association of WA is proud to offer for the fourth time, a scholarship opportunity for a recent, or not so recent graduate of agricultural science or agribusiness who undertakes an education degree. Once qualified, there could be employment opportunities in WA schools, or other schools across Australia - teaching science, agriculture, or more.
