Collie has a larger representation in the 2019 WA Basketball League with 11 Collie players being selected in South West Slammers Squads ranging from U12 through to the U18 Mens and Womens squads.
The 2018/19 Collie Basketball season has proved successful for Collie athletes with the addition of 6 new representatives in comparison to 2018 with 5 new faces, Emily Davenport, Milla Harker, Tom Bell, Kauri Jack-Tui and Chloe Broadbent.
The new players will join previous years representatives Marnie Bercene, Odin Kirk, Connor Silvestor, Jackson Broadbent and Abbey Barber.
The games will be played between Eaton and Perth centres over the winter of 2019 and will be a value experience for all.
In addition Abbey Barber has been selected in the State U18 Women’s Country Squad which travels to Victoria in April 2019.
