It’s our favourite time of the week – a step back in time to reflect on the changes in our region, the faces and the fun that was being had during January to February in 1991.

The Shire of Collie council made a bid to host the 1993 South West Games. There was concern amongst some councillors at the time on whether Collie had enough accommodation to host the event.
Work began to upgrade the turfs at the Collie tennis courts on Throssell Street.
A three hour bus service from Collie to Perth was introduced and started operating four days a week.
