B-Grade: Collie travelled to Eaton needing a win to stay a game clear of Marist and retain second spot on the ladder.
Collie lost the toss and began with the ball, in form Eaton opener Mick Rogers began aggressively and got Eaton off to a good start.
Jason Borrett and Gagan Sidhu managed to wrestle momentum back keeping Rogers quiet while taking three wickets at the other end.
With the wicket looking good for the batsmen, Eaton were headed for a 200 plus score.
Matt Tanner and Mark Williams came on as the first change bowlers and with a tight 10 overs from Tanner with Williams and Blair Malatesta from the other end Collie bowled 8 maidens in the middle 20 overs to halt Eaton in their tracks while continuing to take wickets.
Rogers was a constant source of runs for Eaton until he was dismissed for 97 by Seth White. Once he was out, Eaton stumbled to 174 from their 50 overs.

Brayden Kent and Bailey Moloney started the innings off confidently keeping the good balls out and keeping the score ticking over until Kent was run out for 16.
Mark Williams joined Moloney and together the two put together an 85-run partnership. Williams was bowled for 41 and Malatesta joined Moloney who raised the bat for his second 50 in consecutive weeks.
Malatesta and the in-form Moloney got Collie to 175 in the 38th over securing a bonus point win, keeping Collie in second position with one game to go.
