Collie community groups can apply for grants of up to $5000 in Synergy’s new Collie Small Grants Program.
Applicants are invited from groups or organisations whose initiatives and projects occurring within the Collie postcode (6225), with the aim of engaging and strengthening the social, economic and environmental factors of the community.
Projects should align to Synergy’s partnership pillars of innovation, education and community, and also the company’s corporate values.
Synergy thermal generation manager Leigh Amos said they wanted to do something to support the development of the communities in which they operate in.
"This newly launched program is intended to support a range of initiatives that enrich the social fabric of Collie. We encourage grant applications for programs or projects that will provide a lasting benefit to the community."
