The Rotary 9465 District Conference is set to be held in Collie from Friday, March 22 to Sunday, March 24.
The conference will bring over 300 people from 48 Rotary clubs to Collie from the 9465 District, which spans from Perth to Esperance and East to Kalgoorlie.
District Governor and Collie Rotary Club member Robyn Yates said the Collie community would benefit from the influx of visitors, with several other community groups lending a hand with catering and other duties to support the conference.
The Saturday night Governors Dinner, which will be held at the Collie Italian Club, is a country themed event, and guests are encouraged to wear a checked shirt and cowboy boots.
DG Robyn Yates plans to shave her head at the dinner, raising vital funds for the End Polio campaign.
Rotary worldwide have helped to immunise more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries.
This has resulted in a reduction in polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and rotary has vowed not to stop supporting the cause until it is completely eradicated.
You can donate to DG Robyn Yates' shave for polio appeal via a Collie Rotary Club member or directly at Reubens Newsagency, Collie.
