A great field of pacers look like facing up to the starter in the Bendigo Bank Collie Cup at the Collie track on Sunday afternoon.
The other feature event which is on the card is the George Ashcroft Memorial, where no fewer than five locally trained pacers are nominated to run.
Second in the leading horse for the season, Budd Sidewinder looks very well placed off 20 metres in the Cup while Tactile Sensation, Daniel John, Sammys Ideal and Emjay Twenty Three will all be keen to gain points for their trainers in that award.
The Ashcroft Memorial has locals in Empty The Till (Brian Wheeler), Mon Alisa Jet (Karen Wallrodt) and Itz All About Magic (David Hunter) engaged and will be keen to get the money in this prestigious race.
A very evenly balanced three-year-old event has several runners who have been running extremely well recently.
Bianca Ashcroft's Ashcroft's Triple Brie will be trying for a sixth placing in a row and with any luck in running ii will be capable of saluting the judge in this event.
Adda Boy and Well Advanced are others with great chances.
The leading horse in Nowuseemesmile, for the leading trainer in Sarah Suvaljko, runs in a race for pacers with life time winning stakes of less than $12,000.
A win by this horse should wrap up both awards, but the Michael Brennan trained The Embezzler is a class animal and will provide plenty of opposition.
If a second division of this race is run, Kim Neal's Hold That Smile and Brian Wheeler's McKinley both look well placed.
Another standing start event also has a good field where Bettor Twisted will be trying to make a last gasp tilt for leading horse for Sarah Suvaljko and leading reinsman Dylan Egerton-Green despite coming off a handicap of 30 metres.
Others with good chances will be Disco Spirit (30 metres) and Call Me Ernie (10 metres).
An even field of maiden class pacers sees Aussie Made Kiwi and Billy Boeing as the main chances while Secure The Gold, Cordoring Road and Ti Amo Bella look like fighting out another supporting race.
The weather looks like being a very welcome mid 20 degrees so it should be a very pleasant afternoon.
Entertainment is assured with another Kalbarri Beach Resort holiday to be won off the chocolate wheel and the kids can enter for the usual bike to be given away.
The Pick 4 was not selected last week so it jackpots to a $150 Tote voucher for this Sunday.

On a lean weekend for Collie connections, the Bridgetown Cup meeting on Sunday afternoon had several leading contenders for the Williams, Bridgetown and Collie annual awards winning races as the competitions reach the closing stages.
Trent Wheeler ran third with Thomas Elliot's Overloaded on Saturday night in Narrogin for a place return of $4.20 while Triple Brie ran her fifth consecutive placing for Bianca Ashcroft and Ashleigh Markham in Bridgetown, returning $2.10.
Aiden DeCampo made a bold bid to try to reel in the leaders in the Ray Aramini Memorial Reinsperson's Award with a double on Harry Goodmate and Happy As and two seconds on Grinny Vinnie, and Highroller Joe in the Bridgetown Cup.
However, the leader, Dylan Egerton-Green, almost matched that effort with a winning double of his own with Nowuseemesmile, and Our Perkins in the cup, grabbing a second with Budd Sidewinder and a third on Ignite The Passion.
This leaves him with a 25-point lead over Aiden who would have to drive over six winners on Sunday to overhaul Dylan!
Egerton-Green's efforts behind Nowuseemesmile and Budd Sidewinder also had significant effects on the ladders for leading trainer and horse.
Nowuseemesmile now leads by one point from Budd Sidewinder with the only other contender being Bettor Twisted some three points back in the Noel and Bev Holdsworth Leading Horse Award.
The win of Nowuseemesmile has given trainer Sarah Suvaljko a six point lead over Peter Tillbrook with Budd Sidewinder's trainer Michael Callegari just one point back and Andrew DeCampo just another point in arrears.
Anyone of these trainers could take out the Auburn Valley Merino Stud Leading Trainer Award with a good day on Sunday where a mild but sunny day is forecast for the Bendigo Bank Collie Cup meeting.
Trent Wheeler drove Alta Rhett to a good win in Pinjarra on Monday for a return of $8.20 and $2.20.
