Whacky red outfits abounded at Amaroo Primary School last Friday, April 5.
The wear red dress code day was organised by the student council to raise money to support the Ronald McDonald House.
The charity provides a home away from home for families of seriously ill children who need treatment at Perth Children's Hospital.
It was chosen by the councillors because a family at Amaroo is using this facility whilst their daughter is receiving treatment.
Amaroo Primary School principal Tracey Truss said the fundraiser made $652.
"It's wonderful to see the children raising money for a charity that they understand and have a connection to," she said.
Ronald McDonald House launched a South West Engagement Committee recently to get more involvement from the local regional communities.
The committee is promoting SW individuals and businesses to become actively involved in RMH fundraising, and help make a difference to families at their most challenging times.
