David Hunter's Come Dance with Me gave the best performance last weekend by taking out the Diggers Cup at Bunbury on Saturday night for reinsman Stuart McDonald.
He sat three back in the running line before coming with a well timed run to score handsomely as a $3.30 and $1.30 shot.
On the same programme Bianca Ashcroft's consistent three year old filly Triple Brie ran a great third in the prestigious WASBA Country Oaks at massive odds of $125.
She paid $12.10 for the place for her supporters.
This was a great run as she backed up after running second in Wagin on Thursday evening as a $1.90 place chance. In both races she was driven by Emily Suvaljko.
Also in Wagin, Karen and Cody Wallrodt combined with Mon Alisa Jet who ran third after sitting behind the leader and paying a place dividend of $1.70.
Trent Wheeler also ran third behind the $2.75 favourite Aussie Made Kiwi for Hayden Reeves and second on Matthew Scott's Adda Boy.
They returned place dividends of $1.50 and $2.50 respectively.
Both Trent and Cody ran placings in Kellerberrin on Sunday afternoon, Trent behind Sarah Suvaljko's Nowuseemesmile as a $2 place chance and Cody with Maryann White's Soho Mercury at $4.80 the place.
After running third in Gloucester Park the previous Tuesday Ross Ashcroft's Disco Bolt backed up last Monday in Pinjarra for Wheeler, who also drove Minimum Wage.
This weekend: Gloucester Park, Friday; Narrogin, Saturday; Pinjarra, Monday.
