The Collie Eagles reserves were the only team that took a win out from underneath the Busselton Pies at the weekend in a tight-knit match that saw them win by a single point.
The Eagles got ahead in the first half of the game, until the Pies started to make a come back in the third quarter.
Heading into the final quarter the Pies were ahead with a 7.5-47 lead, to the Eagles 5.5-35.
In the final quarter both teams kicked several goals and it was the Eagles that came out on top with a 10.6-66 win, to the Pies 10.5-65.
However, the Eagles couldn't keep the winning momentum up with the colts and women's teams both being defeated by the Pies.
The Eagles colts had a devastating loss with hardly getting any scores on the board for the entire game.
The Pies won with an outstanding 22.16-148 effort, to the Eagles 2.2-14.
The Pies women's team also came out on top with a 2.8-20 win, to the Eagles disappointing 1.2-8 loss.
