Nitrate Nomads comes to Collie's library
In collaboration with the Collie Family History Society, Author Daryl Binning will be speaking about his book, Nitrate Nomads this afternoon at the Collie Public Library.
Nitrate Nomads looks into the cinemas of the South West including Collie.
The exciting years of Allan Jones circuit pictures and other south-west showmen. An entertaining and highly interesting history of the early picture show business.
Incidents, biographies, film stills, will bring back memories of those who attended the bush shows in the south west halls. This will become a classic for film historians.
The event is on today, Thursday, May 9, 4pm-5pm at the Collie Public Library.
