Collie residents who are considering buying their first home are being urged to attend the free inaugural Collie Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank's First Home Buyers' Seminar this month.
LJ Hooker Collie licensed sales agent Mitch Davidson, Keystart Home Loans home loan specialist of sales and marketing Radloff Calitz, Clarity Conveyancing managing director Kate Neaves, and Collie Community Bank branch manager Narelle Michalak will make up the panel of experts at the seminar to advise first-time buyers aboout how to secure a property.
Mrs Michalak said the seminar would provide an excellent opportunity for first-time buyers to learn more about the process of buying a home from local experts who understand local market conditions.
House hunting can be an anxious time for inexperienced buyers, but a well-informed, knowledgeable purchaser can approach the market with confidence that they are making the right decision at the right time.

"Buying a home for the first time can be quite a daunting prospect, however, we hope this seminar will help demystify the process and better inform customers of their options," Mrs Michalak said.

The panel of experts will discuss the best ways to set a realistic budget, how buyers can understand the costs of home ownership, and how they can identify a home loan best suited to their needs. They will also provided an overview of the WA property market.
The seminar will be held of Wednesday, May 29 from 6:30 - 9:30pm at the Collie-Cardiff RSL Club.
