The Collie Smith Family celebrated and thanked their volunteers for their contribution recently at the Colliefields during a morning tea.
The celebration was to coincide with National Volunteer Week, held from May 20-26.
The week celebrates and acknowledge the generous contribution volunteers bring to organisations and to society.
The Collie Smith Family program co-ordinator Diane Blount thanked all the organisation's volunteers for their hard work.
"You're a special group of volunteers," she said.
"I just want to thank you all for your commitment, your enthusiasm, your support towards our programs, your support to our children and I can't speak highly enough of you all.
"You make our jobs so much easier."
The Collie Smith Family learning club co-ordinator Sheila Clow said the organisation couldn't survive without volunteers.
"Everyone brings something different to the table which is great.
"I value you for your contribution, and I also learn so much from your suggestions."
