PINE HAULIERS MEAT PACK
Pine Hauliers Meat Pack was held last Wednesday, May 22 and the results were as follows:
Winner: Tom Edwards with 4 points plus 14;
Second: Valdis Brojanowski with 4 points plus 11;
Third: Les McCamish with 4 points plus 8;
Fourth: Ian Bushell with 4 points plus 2.
A good field of bowlers enjoyed the fine weather and good bowls were played.
This meat pack is a popular event getting quite a few numbers.
McCAFE SCROUNGERS - May 26
The start of the winter scroungers commenced last week and 15 players took to the greens.
The rink winners were Ken Richards, Vicki Daniel, Jamie Parker and Stan Wasielewski.
The winner was Vicki Daniel; second Jamie Parker; third Ken Richards; fourth Stan Wasielewski.
The highest score went to Ken Richards and the consolation went to Eileen Hindle.
LADIES BOWLS
The ladies will be playing bowls on Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting; and following bowls there will be cards.
If raining the bowls will be indoors.
All bowls will commence at 9.30am for 10am start.
