The Collie Visitor Centre received computer upgrades and the Collie Early Education Centre received new blinds, thanks to funding support as part of the Yancoal Premier Coal Community Support Program.
The program aims to make a difference in the community and in the lives of the people who work and live in the areas where it operates.
Premier Coal operations manager Jim Falconer said the visitor centre staff were incredibly helpful.
"With this upgrade to their computer systems, they can provide a more effective and efficient service," he said.
Mr Falconer was also proud to support the installation of blinds for the Collie Early Education Centre's outdoor space.
"This was an opportunity for us to assist a local organisation who provide an important service to families," he said.
