Start-ups, businesses, and organisations are all able to apply for the Collie Futures Small Grants Program's second round of funding.
The State Government will allocate grants of up to $100,000 to initiatives with a positive impact on the Collie community.
The Collie Futures Small Grants program and the $18 million Collie Futures Industry Development Fund are both part of the Collie Futures Fund.
The fund was set up to stimulate Collie's economic diversification and development.
Investment through the Collie Futures Fund is guided by the Collie Futures Economic Advisory Committee, which works to identify, consider, and recommend worthwhile projects.
Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan said the program was created to provide significant benefits to the region.
"Projects supported through this grants program are expected to deliver a return on investment, helping to diversify Collie's economic base and creating new jobs," she said.
"The first round of the Collie Futures Small Grants Program provided a financial helping hand towards a number of initiatives which are progressing, including a demonstration marron farm, hay processing plant and energy-intensive data centre.
"The program is part of the McGowan Government's efforts to secure ongoing prosperity for Collie through broadening the economy to create jobs in a range of industries for local people."
Collie-Preston MLA Mick Murray said the town's economy had the potential to grow, over time.
"Collie continues to open its doors to new industry, including start-ups and small-to-medium businesses," he said.
"I look forward to seeing more enterprises choosing Collie as a base.
The Collie River Valley and wider region have a lot to offer in terms of comparative advantages.
"These include heavy and light industrial parks, as well as attractive lifestyle opportunities for workers."
