Collie Community Home Care's staff and residents came together to raise much-needed funds for cancer research, earlier this month.
The centre hosted a Biggest Morning Tea event on Tuesday, June 4, raising $350.
Forty people visited the centre and enjoyed each other's company.
Collie Community Home Care Social Centre team leader Sue Wright said the campaign involved many friendly, like-minded people.
"Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is very dear to my heart, because I've dealt with a lot of people with cancer," she said.
"The campaign helps people who are dealing with cancer. It also helps to fund research for many new forms of treatment."
"We chose to do a special morning tea to raise some funds and get the community involved."
Ms Wright thanked the community members who provided their support.
"Everybody really enjoyed the day," she said.
"I'm thrilled that so many local businesses were able to contribute, as well."
