Patriots dominated top-of-the-table Centaurs Green on the weekend.

Chris Michalak and Kolbee Fleay paved the way for Patriots to be 3-0 up at half-time.

Centaurs went 4-0 down when Jaydon Ellery scored his second for the night.

Centaurs scored a consolation goal through some good play from Kyle Davies and Nathan Macintyre but it was a case of too little too late as Patriots showed why they won the competition last year.

The second game saw Mustangs play Co-op. Co-op were slightly under manned for the night and Mustangs took full advantage.

Both Kyle and Dane Marley were running the show as Mustangs piled on the pressure early.

Co-op couldn't hold Mustangs at bay for long despite the best efforts of Jakob Pilatti in goals and some good finishing from the forwards saw Mustangs up 4-0 at the half.

Mustangs continued the second half as the first with Dave OBrien and Conner Mumme allowing the goals to keep flowing.

Co-op grabbed a goal through Benson Sanford to stem the flow but the game was already over with Mustangs running out 7-1 winners.
